UNT Equity and Diversity Conference

The Equity and Diversity Conference is an annual event hosted by the Division of Institutional Equity and Diversity at the University of North Texas. The conference brings together hundreds of students, educators and professionals who are committed to equity, access, and inclusion in higher education, but is also open to any community members interested in diversity and inclusion topics.

Each year the conference is keynoted by a speaker with relevant knowledge, skills, and experience related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and/or social justice. Past speakers have included Dr. Melissa Harris-Perry, Dr. Derald Wing Sue, Hill Harper, and Soledad O’Brien. See below for a list of past conference speakers.

Conference Sponsorship Opportunities

UNT’s annual Equity and Diversity Conference provides your organization an opportunity to interface with up to 500 attendees, including UNT students, higher education professionals, corporate partners, and community leaders. This year’s sponsorship packages include a unique opportunity to brand your organization as a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Presenting Sponsorship integrates your company name into the conference logo and features your organization on the Division of Institutional Equity and Diversity’s “Social Justice And Community Engagement” television program. The Inclusive Excellence Sponsorship gives the gift of supporting a UNT department or college who has demonstrated a commitment to institutionalizing equity and inclusion through its policies, programs practices and people. The Social Justice Sponsorship includes introduction of the conference’s most recent addition to its programming of the Social Justice Speaker.

This year as an added benefit to all our sponsorship packages, we provide customized learning and development programs on various diversity, equity and inclusion topics to help your organization achieve its strategic goals. We hope these unique services provided by UNT will help to catalyze and expand your own diversity and inclusion strategy.

A full list and description of our sponsorship packages follows, and we look forward to discussing the best fit for your needs. Sponsor commitment form and logos must be submitted by September 15, 2018.
